DC Farmers Market News

This Saturday the FRESHFARM Market at H Street will be welcoming two new vendors: Smith Family Farm and NonBon Bakery. Smith Family Farm sells Grass-Fed Angus Beef, Pastured Poultry, Pastured Turkey and Free-Range eggs. NonBon Bakery makes a delicious array of goods using fresh produce from local farmers, including strawberry bread, bread pudding, sweet potato pies and cobblers. Come out and try a sample!

I'm a thirty-something guy living, eating and cooking for fun in Washington, DC. I'll be abusing ellipses and writing regularly about my appreciation for locally grown/produced food and the chefs/home cooks who use it . . . and other delicious food too. - Foggy Bottom; Wednesdays, 2:30-7PM (I Street NW, between New Hampshire Avenue & 24th Street, NW)
- H Street; Saturdays, 9AM-Noon (624 H Street NE; parking lot directly across from the H Street Self Storage)
- 14th & U Streets NW; Saturdays, 9AM-1PM
- Penn Quarter; Thursdays, 3-7PM (North End of 8th Street NW, between D and E Streets, NW)
- Silver Spring; Saturdays, 9AM-1PM (Ellsworth Drive, between Fenton and Cedar Streets)
