Sugar Cane

Photo of sugar cane at a San Francisco farmers market 2/24/08

After a delayed flight and lost (still not found) baggage on American Airlines yesterday, I got home pretty late last night and haven't had time to do much photo processing.  But I wanted to share this one with you before running off to work.  I spent Sunday morning at San Francisco's Heart of the City Farmers' Market at UN Plaza and this sugar cane is the first thing that caught my eye.  You won't see this at a DC farmers market in February . . . that's for sure.  I love the Bay Area!

My luggage was once lost on both legs of a trip--it was like the universe was screwing with me. I feel your pain.

More importantly, did you buy some cane?

Luggage lost on both legs . . . that super-sucks!

I didn't buy any cane . . . but we bought a whole lot of other stuff that'll be featured here in the coming days.

OK, seriously - you may be my perfect man. SF and chocolate in quick succession? Seriously - we must meet!

Keep up the great work! Your photos, slow shutter or not (I have no idea what that means anyway) are fantastic!
